Check your hard disk for errors after black screen ( Windows XP / 7 / 8 / )
You can solve some computer problems and improve the performance of your computer by making sure that your hard disk has no errors.
Open Computer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Computer.
Right-click the hard disk drive that you want to check, and then click Properties.
Click the Tools tab, and then, under Error-checking, click Check Now. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select Automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will simply report problems but not fix them.
To perform a thorough disk check, select Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors. This scan attempts to find and repair physical errors on the hard disk itself, and it can take much longer to complete.
To check for both file errors and physical errors, select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
Click Start.
After scan is complete you should see list of errors repaired
Restart your PC and you should be good to go!
Command prompt mode
To find and repair errors that are found in the C drive, use the following command:
Press WIN+R type cmd
Type Fallowing
chkdsk /f C:
Note that Check Disk can’t repair volumes that are in use.
If the volume is in use, Check Disk displays a prompt that asks if you want to schedule the volume to be checked the next time you restart the system.
Click Yes to schedule this.
The complete syntax for Check Disk is this:

Volume Sets the volume to work with.
filename FAT/FAT32 only: Specifies files to check for fragmentation.
/F Fixes errors on the disk.
/V On FAT/FAT32, this displays the full path and name of every file on the disk. On NTFS, this displays cleanup messages, if any.
/R Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information (implies /F).
/L:size NTFS only. Changes the log file size.
/X Forces the volume to dismount first if necessary (implies /F).
/I NTFS only. Performs a minimum check of index entries.
/C NTFS only. Skips checking of cycles within the folder structure.

Sometimes, your computer is noticeably slower or programs "hang" when you access certain files. This problem might occur because there are errors on your hard disk drive.
You can troubleshoot the problem by using the Disk Check tool in Windows 7. Disk Check can identify and automatically correct file system errors and make sure that you can continue to load and write data from the hard disk. You can use Disk Check in Windows 7 not only for local hard drives, but also for removable media such as USB memory sticks or memory cards.
Not Please make sure that you close all open programs and files before you start the disk check.
1. Right click the Start Windows icon.
3. In the navigation pane click Computer so that your drives appear in the right panel.
4. Right-click the drive that you want to check.
5. Click Properties.
6. Click the Tools tab.
7. Click the Check now button.
8. In the Check Disk <disk name> window, select the Automatically fix file system errors checkbox. (Note If you want to perform a detailed test of the hard drive, you can select the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box. You should do that in the justified suspicion of existing hardware error in any case. But please note that the operation can then take a long time. For a first routine check, we recommend that you do not select this option. )
9. Click Start.
10. If the drive that you want to check is currently in use and it is your system drive, you will see a dialog box with a warning message. In this case, click Schedule disk check.
11. Exit all open programs, and then restart your computer. The checking will start automatically before next Windows startup and display the results when completed.
12. If you are not checking the system drive, you do not have to turn off the computer. However, the selected drive may also be in use. In this case, you receive a message. After you have saved all files and close all open programs, click Force a dismount.
13. The checking starts immediately. After it is completed, the results will be displayed.

Cara Mengatasi FLASH DISK “ Write Protect “
Salam Blogger, Bloggingpasuruan bagi bagi artikel lagi, kali ini tentang Cara Mengatasi FLASH DISK “ Write Protect “. Permasalan ini kadang sangat menjengkelkan apalagi jika Sobat benar benar sedang membutuhkan data dari Flash disk ternyata Sobat mendapai masalah “ Flash Disk Write Protect “.

Cara Mudah Memperbaiki Flashdisk ERROR,CORRUPT,Tidak terbaca
Sebenarnya masalah “Write Protect” terjadi sangatlah simple dan umumnya tidak disadari oleh user itu sendiri. Salah satu penyebab Write Protect yang paling umum terjadi adalah ketika Flash Disk masih tertancap di USB drive langsung dicabut tanpa melalui prosedur yang benar.
Kita langsung saja ke cara memperbaiki flashdsik di Write Protected :
Langkah Pertama :
1. Masuk ke Window >> Run (Ini khusus OS Windows)
2. Isikan pada field dengan “Regedit” >> enter..
3.Cari HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl StorageDevicePolicies(kemungkinan di beberapa OS tidak dijumpai StorageDevicePolicies)
4. Pada sisi sebelah kanan akan ada DWORD bernama WriteProtect. Klik 2x pada DWORD tersebut dan ubah value-nya dengan 0
5. Klik OK dan Restart komputer.
Langkah ke dua:
1. Buka Command Prompt Windows dengan cara buka run dan isi dengan cmd dan ketik “CHKDSK /E Drive letter” : (contoh apabila flashdisk berada di drive E maka ketik “chkdsk /f e”.
2. Kemudian coba untuk membuat folder baru pada Flash Disk tersebut, apabila berhasil maka folder baru tersebut akan tersimpan di flashdisk walaupun flashdisk tersebut tidak tersambung pada komputer sekalipun.
3. Apabila masih gagal, coba ulangi format dengan perintah Format Drive letter: (contoh apabila flashdisk berada di drive G maka format g
4. Atau Sobat dapat dilakukan melalui Computer Management dan lihat volume drive flash disk yang akan diformat, kemudian format. Bila masih error, coba restart komputer dan coba lagi. (hentikan jika memang cara ini belum berhasil )
Langkah ke tiga :
1. Buka Windows Explorer, Klik kanan pada Drive Flash disk yang write protected kemudian klik “eject”,
2. Cabut Flash disk tersebut tanpa Safely remove,
3. Pasang kembali Flash Disk tersebut.
Apabila Flashdisk masih write protected, ulangi langkah 1-3, ( Cara dibawah ini adalah alternatif terakhir).
Cara Mengatasi Flash Disk Write Protection Menggunakan Diskpart Command Line
1. Masuk Window >> Run >> CMD tekan Enter
2. Sobat akan melihat tampilan command line seperti di bawah ini
3.Pada C:windowssystem32DISKPART tekan Enter ( lihat gambar dibawah ini )
4. Sekarang ketik LIST DISK dan tekan Enter. Anda akan melihat sesuatu tabel seperti di bawah. Ini menunjukkan dua disk yang tersedia: Hard Disk Drive (HDD) sebagai Disk 0, dan USB flash drive sebagai Disk 1. Kita tahu bahwa USB flash drive adalah Disk 1 karena jauh lebih kecil daripada Disk 0 di hanya 7441 MB dibandingkan 298 GB. Hati-hatil ya jangan samapai salah pada langkah ini !!!
Pada Langkah ini, jenis SELECT DISK 1 dan tekan Enter bahwa Disk 1 sekarang disk yang Sobat dipilih. Ketik ATRIBUT DISK, dan Diskpart akan memberitahu tentang flash drive Sobat. Yang terpenting adalah baris pertama “ Current Read-only state: yes “. Hal ini memungkinkan Sobat tahu bahwa, memang, flash drive dalam posisi “ WRITE PROTECT “.
Untuk menghapus WRITE PROTECT dengan Diskpart, ketik perintah ATRIBUT DISK CLEAR READONLY. Jika berhasil, yang akan dikonfirmasi oleh Disk attributes cleared successfully.
Jika semua cara di atas tidak mengatasi masalah Sobat dengan Flash Disk Write Protect maka jalan satu satunya perbaikan adalah menggunakan software.
